Last spring and fall the trend of mixing prints was very hot in the runway, but when it came time to wear it in the streets, it can look a bit too overwhelming and a bit messy. So, before the Spring 2011 season (the perfect time to mix prints) begins, here are some tips to mix prints the right way!

- The easier and saver way to mix print is by buying a dress where the prints are already mix.
- Mix a classic pattern such as strips, polka dots and plaid with them self or bolder patterns
- Make the colors cohesive. Both patters should share at least one color.
- When stepparents, don’t make your full outfit out of different patterns, have at least one solid color item.
I LOVE mixing prints but it is def hard to get used to! Sometimes I mix prints by pairing a print scarf with a print skirt or blouse!
