On December 2010 Forbes named Houston ( aka my city ) the #1 shopping city in the nation. As you can imagine I was extremely proud and as many Houstonian fashionistas; happy that my city was finally getting the recognition that it deserves!
In honor of this fabulous recognition, I would like to share with my fabulous fashionistas some of my favorite places to shop, Click on the links to see list of stores.

Really, though great I have lived here for years and the people here are hardly what I would call fashionable. Everyone dresses the same and shops at the same places. I am not a native so understand this is probably why I can’t get too elated but kudos to the accomplishment since from the outide looking in it doesn’t look to fashionable.
I think Forbes named Houston as the #1 shopping city because of the amount of stores we have and how much money we spend in general not only fashion. As any other city, Houston has people who don’t care much about fashion or style but also has many people such as my self who appreciate the art of fashion. =)
